Colobus Conservation Colobus Conservation When visiting Diani beach and looking for something special to do, a guided tour at the Colobus Trust is definitely worth a visit. The guided walk is very educational and the pocket friendly entry fee goes directly towards the conservation of primate habitat, veterinary needs and rehabilitation of injured animals. It’s a very worthy cause and fun experience!	Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park Sail on a traditional Dhow around Wasini Island, snorkel in the island’s marine conservation area and be amazed at the sight of Dolphins as they swim by. This is an incredible experience. Try your hand at fishing and catch your very own fish supper. Then later enjoy a fresh fish and seafood barbeque. Truly a day to remember!	Shimba Hills National Reserve Shimba Hills National Reserve Set in the heart of Kenya’s tropical rainforest, Shimba Hills is one of the country’s best-preserved game retreats. Its rolling grasslands and thick forests are home to all creatures’ great and small, including over 500 elephants. However, it’s the Sable Antelope which makes visitors flock here – it’s exclusive to Shimba Hills so keep your eyes peeled. The walk down to the waterfall can be combined with a game drive, as it's really not that far for anyone remotely fit. Wear your swimmers, take a small towel and you can enjoy a waterfall massage.
Bike the Coast Bike the Coast Discover the real Africa by cycling off the beaten track. See local people in their settlements and traditional African villages, with palm and mango tree forests. Enjoy fantastic views of Creeks and Ocean around the Diani Coast area. Ride through the bush along the edge of the Indian Ocean. All in all see sights of the Diani area that average tourists miss.	Mombasa Tusks Mombasa Tusks The Mombasa “Tusks” are a symbolic representations of the entrance into the heart of the town. The tusks were built to commemorate the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to the town in 1952, as they lay directly on the path from the Port to the Town. Ivory was considered to be an exquisite commodity during the time and, in essence, the tusks were meant to embrace the Queen and the British Empire.	Fort Jesus Fort Jesus Fort Jesus is Mombasa’s most popular tourist attraction and is located along the coastline near the Old Town. Built in the 16th century by the Portuguese during the era when Mombasa served as a transit point for the slave trade and commodities. The interior comprises of torture rooms and prison cells where slaves were kept in captivity before being traded.
Hindu Temples Hindu Temples Hindu temples are one of the many symbols of Mombasa’s cultural diversity. Temples are a popular tourist spot and a tour can usually be taken inside the temple, with a historical background of the particular temple given by one of the temple gurus.The stone carvings on the walls and the idols of the Hindu gods portray the history of Mombasa as much as the religious beliefs of the worshippers.	Old Town Old Town Old Town is the part of Mombasa that is reminiscent of the days when the Arabs exerted a heavy influence on the town and its culture, and especially in the architecture and language (Kiswahili has a lot of phrases derived from various Arabic dialects). It is well known for its ancient buildings, extravagant art designs and curio shops that sell antique and popular Kenyan souvenirs. Old Town is best seen when explored by foot with an experienced guide, as the streets are too narrow to accommodate a large number of vehicles.	Mamba Village Mamba Village Mamba Village, which is situated in Nyali, is East Africa’s largest crocodile farm. A tour of the farm starts with a movie on the life cycle and behaviour of crocodiles, followed by a comprehensive tour of the rest of farm, ending with the highlight of the day: a spectacular scene of blood-thirsty crocodiles fighting for food during feeding time. Excellent cuisine is available at the Mamba Restaurant, and the house specialty is superbly grilled crocodile meat. Souvenirs of your visit can be bought at the Mamba Souvenir shop located within the village.
